\n\tThe PRO Movement is encouraging Moldovans that hold Romanian citizenship to get out and vote in the EU parliamentary election this Sunday and choose the independent candidate Peter Costea. The Movement\u2019s leader Gheorghe Costandachi said Costea, a Houston-based lawyer of Romanian origin, \u201cdeserves to become a member of European Parliament because he is a wholesome and experienced person\u201d.<\/p>\n
\tAt a press conference today, Costandachi highlighted the importance of the EU parliamentary election for the European future of Moldova. \u201cMoldova belongs to Europe and integration is only possible through reunification with the mother country\u201d, he added. In Europe, Costandachi went on, \u201cthe living standards, justice, human rights are all guaranteed. But we cannot become a EU member separately as a state\u201d.<\/p>\n
\tGheorghe Costandachi says it\u2019s important that Romanian citizens in Moldova head to the voting booths in great numbers and vote for honest and experienced people. \u201cWe should look at people who are good policy-makers and are able to achieve reunification. Independents are the best choice to become MEPs because they know the best what needs to be done\u201d, argued Costandachi.<\/p>\n
\tAlexandru Gamanji, the Movement\u2019s deputy president, agreed that it\u2019s important to go out and vote on Sunday as every vote is precious. \u201cMy opinion and PRO Movement\u2019s opinion is that we must vote in this election if we want a European future for Moldova. This piece of land must become part of the European space. And of course, the easiest way to achieve this is to reunite with Romania\u201d.<\/p>\n
