The medical and non-medical personnel will benefit from a salary supplement for working night shifts – between 22.00 and 6.00 a.m. A regulation to this effect was approved by the Government on Wednesday, IPN reports.<\/p>\n
“The maximum amount to be offered for a night shift constitutes 1000 lei, money that will be added to the existing salary package,” said the Minister of health, labour and social protection Ala Nemerenco.<\/p>\n
Middle-level medical personnel will have a supplement of up to 500 lei, while technical staff – 380 lei. In district level institutions, the amount of the supplement will constitute 700 lei for doctors, 380 lei for middle-level medical personnel and 200 lei for the technical staff.<\/p>\n
By another decision, in order to eliminate discrimination, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the equivalence of the position salaries of the medical personnel from the narcology service with those of the medical personnel from the psychiatry service.<\/p>\n
