Four groups were constituted in the new composition of Chi\u0219in\u0103u Municipal Council – the Socialist Party group, the Action and Solidarity Party group, the ACUM group, the DA Platform and the Liberal Party group. Additionally, two Democrats and two \u0218or Party members are part of the council, while the National Unity Party, the “For\u021ba Nou\u0103” Movement and the Communist Party each have a member serving on the CMC.<\/p>\n
The largest group on the CMC is the PSRM, with 22 local councilors. The chairman of the group is Sergei Afanasenco.<\/p>\n
Although the Political Party Platform Dignity and Truth and the Action and Solidarity Party participated together in the local elections, as the ACUM bloc, they have formed distinct groups on the council. ACUM group, DA Platform has ten councilors, while Andrei N\u0103stase is the chair of the group. The PAS group has nine councilors, while the chairperson is Vasile Gr\u0103dinaru.<\/p>\n
The Liberal Party group has three councilors. The chairman of the Liberal Party group is Ion Cebanu.<\/p>\n
The members of the CMC who are incompatible with the position of municipal councilor, have to decide within one month whether or not to resign as councilor in favor of another position. Those who will resign will be replaced on the CMC by substitute candidates.<\/p>\n
Chi\u0219in\u0103u Municipal Council is formed of 51 councilors.<\/p>\n
