The application to get the one-time childbirth allowance is submitted to the local house of social insurance at the place of residence of the applicant or the spouse or, if the maternity allowance was set, to the local house of social insurance that set this allowance. The application can be also filed online through the governmental public services portal www.servicii.gov.md and\/or the website of the National House of Social Insurance \u2013 www.cnas.md.<\/p>\n
The necessary funds were earmarked by the 2020 state budget law. Under the legislation, the benefits intended for families with children are paid for the previous month.<\/p>\n
