A man aged 55 from Chisinau is suspected of having beaten his wife to death. He admitted his guilt and was remanded in custody for 30 days, IPN reports.<\/p>\n
The Chisinau Police said the man called the 112 Service himself, saying that he found his wife aged 55 dead. The medical examiner determined that the woman was beaten, being also hit in the head.<\/p>\n
Investigators established that the man and his wife had a fight in the evening of December 17. Being under the influence of alcohol, the man hit the woman for several times and in the morning found her dead.<\/p>\n
The man faces 12 to 15 years in jail for domestic violence that resulted in death.<\/p>\n
