The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is on an official visit to Montenegro at the invitation of her counterpart, Jakov Milatovi\u0107. This is the first official visit of a President of the Republic of Moldova to Montenegro and marks an important step in deepening bilateral relations between the two countries. <\/p>\n\n
Maia Sandu held talks in Podgorica with President Milatovi\u0107, Prime Minister Milojko Spaji\u0107 and Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandi\u0107. The talks focused on the cooperation between the two countries in the context of the European integration process, as well as on the possibility of expanding cooperation in areas of common interest, IPN reports. <\/p>\n\n
“Moldova and Montenegro are on the same road – the road to the European Union. We talked about how we can work more closely together on this journey so that people in both countries can have a better life. The European Union is already bringing positive changes through projects and investments, and if we work together, we can achieve even more,” said President Maia Sandu. <\/p>\n\n
For his part, the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovi\u0107, emphasized the symbolic and strategic nature of the visit, highlighting the common values and goals that bind the two countries.<\/p>\n\n
