The situation is generated by the misunderstandings between \u201cAqua Nord\u201d Soroca and \u201c<span style=\"background:white\">Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord\u201d<\/span>, mayor of the municipality of Balti Nicolai Grigorishin stated in a municipal meeting, IPN reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the mayor, \u201cAqua Nord\u201d Soroca received a letter from \u201cFEE-Nord\u201d, informing that on November 9, the supply of electricity at the pumping stations in Soroca town will be switched off. \u201cAqua Nord\u201d Soroca must clear the debts for the consumed electricity. These pumping stations pump water to Balti. \u201cFEE-Nord\u201d and \u201cAqua Nord\u201d have disagreements, but Balti, which does not have any debts to Soroca, will be disconnected from the water supply and sewerage system. The Balti mayor\u2019s office made approaches to \u201cAp\u0103-Canal B\u0103l\u021bi\u201d, \u201cGlorin Inginering\u201d and \u201cDirec\u021bia Troleibuze\u201d and a commission for exceptional situations was set up.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolai Grigorishin noted that the Balti mayor\u2019s office warned the head of the National Commission for Exceptional Situations, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrili\u021ba, about the expected disconnections. The State Chancellery sent a letter by which the Balti mayor\u2019s office, \u201cAp\u0103 Canal B\u0103l\u021bi\u201d and \u201cAqua Nord\u201d Soroca are urged to resolve this conflict by discussions.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor added that if \u201cFEE-Nord\u201d disconnects the city from the supply of electricity, Balti will not have water and the sewerage system will stop working in at most 24 hours. \u201cI asked the jurists to inform the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova about the fact that \u201cFEE-Nord\u201d and \u201cAqua Nord\u201d Soroca consciously want to disconnect Balti from the water supply,\u201d stated Nicolai Grigorishin.<\/p>\n<div id=\"related_pages_keyphrase\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The city of Balti could remain without water and sewerage from tomorrow, November 9.
