There were designed and implemented a number of other projects to develop and improve the education system, shows a summing up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GuvernulRepubliciiMoldova\/videos\/816465759417696\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a> disseminated by the Government at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The education authorities mentioned the adoption of the law on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipn.md\/ro\/proiectul-de-lege-cu-privire-la-invatamantul-dual-aprobat-7967_1088685.html\" target=\"_blank\">dual education<\/a>, which enables to cover up to 50% of the costs incurred by the business entity for instituting dual education and to increase the remuneration for students involved in this program.<\/p>\n<p>Seven universities and six teacher-training colleges obtained financing totaling \u20ac14.3 million for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipn.md\/en\/13-universities-and-colleges-in-moldova-to-get-143m-7967_1093531.html\" target=\"_blank\">improving the programs of studies<\/a>, training teachers and equipping halls, laboratories and research centers.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-one technical vocational institutions and 22 business entities received \u20ac700,000 worth of grants for strengthening the dual education system.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Education also noted the doubling of the annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipn.md\/en\/annual-allowance-for-teaching-staff-doubled-7967_1088023.html\" target=\"_blank\">one-off payment<\/a> intended for teachers in general education, from 2,000 to 4,000 lei, for about 43,000 persons.<\/p>\n<p>The monthly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipn.md\/en\/stipends-of-professional-athletes-to-be-raised-twofold-7967_1093174.html\" target=\"_blank\">stipends<\/a> of professional athletes were also doubled, with an extra 15 million lei being allocated for the purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Among the accomplishments in education in 2022 is also the fact that the Republic of Moldova joined the <span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"background:white\">EU <em>Framework Program<\/em> for Research and Innovation \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipn.md\/en\/anatolie-topala-we-allocate-312m-lei-for-modernizing-higher-education-and-resear-7967_1091088.html\" target=\"_blank\">Horizon Europe<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"related_pages_keyphrase\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the Ministry of Education and Research, the year 2022 was under the sign of the reformation of the higher education and research systems through the merger of universities and&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":511473,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[138],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-512185","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-society"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
