The works will include the renovation of sanitary groups, including one for people with disabilities, and the modernization of sewerage systems, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investments, estimated at about one million lei for each institution, are made within a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Research and Caritas Czech Republic &#8211; Chisinau Branch, and are funded by European funds. The works will be carried out at Gymnasium No. 68 from Dobrogea village, Sangera city, &#8220;Alexei Mateevici&#8221; Theoretical High School from Cainari city, Causeni district, &#8220;Alexandr Pushkin&#8221; Gymnasium from Cimislia city and Raciula Gymnasium from Calarasi district.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the data presented by the MEC at the end of last year, 80 educational institutions in the country only had outdoor sanitary blocks. Technical projects have been developed for most of them, however, in some schools, the arrangement of indoor sanitary groups is not possible due to the lack of sewage.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the latest available public data, approximately half of the schools in the country still maintain outdoor sanitary groups, even though they have sanitary blocks inside.
