Prime minister-designate Dorin Recean is going to Parliament on Thursday to present his Cabinet and government program before asking for the legislature\u2019s formal vote of confidence.<\/p>\n
Dorin Recean was designated on February 10 after the resignation announced earlier in the day by Natalia Gavrili\u021ba. Since February 2022, Recean has served as security and defense policy adviser to President Maia Sandu. He was minister of the interior in the Filat and the Leanc\u0103 Cabinets.<\/p>\n
Per the Constitution, Parliament hears the incoming Cabinet\u2019s proposed program. A majority of votes is needed for a formal endorsement, before the President swears in the Cabinet.<\/p>\n
Parliament is to assemble tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
