Europe is building a common missile defense shield based on Ukraine\u2019s wartime experience. The strategic plan, presented in Paris in the presence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, aims to develop an integrated program to neutralize future ballistic threats, reports The Guardian<\/a>, as cited by IPN.<\/p>\n\n

The participating countries are Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Spain. Their leaders are committed to building a common ballistic missile defense capability for Europe. The initiative aims to create an integrated missile defense architecture, designed to deter and neutralize threats.<\/p>\n\n

The central pillar is the valorization of Ukraine’s experience in intercepting complex attacks, over more than four years of resistance against the Russian army. European leaders have recognized that the expertise gained by Kiev is vital, considering that ballistic missiles are much harder to neutralize than cruise missiles or drones.<\/p>\n\n

During the meeting, the French President, Emmanuel Macron, announced that a Multinational Force for Ukraine will conduct exercises in neighboring countries in the coming period to demonstrate the credibility of deployment plans after the ceasefire. Furthermore, the United Kingdom has announced its readiness to participate in the European Union’s support loan for Ukraine, worth 90 billion euros. This collaboration will allow British defense companies to supply weaponry funded from these funds. The first tranches of this loan are already directed towards strengthening the production of drones for the Ukrainian army.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
