The candidate designated for the position of Prime Minister, Vasile Tofan, has begun consultations for the development of the government program with which he is to present himself in Parliament to request a vote of confidence. Today and Tuesday, he will discuss with each minister about the objectives for the next 12 months, the blockages in the managed areas, and the priorities related to the European integration process, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n

Additionally, Vasile Tofan will hold consultations with representatives of associations from various fields, civil society, and parliamentary factions, to identify the priorities of the future executive.<\/p>\n\n

“What we change, what we accelerate, what doesn’t work and needs to be done differently – any governance decision must start, first and foremost, from the impact on people’s lives,” mentions the candidate for the prime minister position.<\/p>\n\n

President Maia Sandu has appointed<\/a> Vasile Tofan as the candidate for the position of Prime Minister at the proposal of the Action and Solidarity Party. He is expected to present the government’s program and the composition of the cabinet of ministers to Parliament, and the Government will be able to take office after obtaining the vote of confidence from the deputies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
