The winners will be announced on the National Currency Day, on November 29, 2023, when it will be celebrated the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Moldovan Leu, IPN reports.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, the NBM says the competition aims to cultivate a sense of civic pride in the Moldovan Leu and other historic values of the country.<\/p>\n<p>This way, any individual, of all ages and nationalities, are invited to take part in this open contest that is designed to highlight the historical landmarks of the Republic of Moldova featured on Moldovan Leu banknotes. Participants are required to submit to the NBM a minimum of eight photographs of banknotes currently in circulation. Each photograph should display a banknote set against the background of the corresponding depicted monument.<\/p>\n<p>Only original, unedited photographs shall be submitted. Images edited in programs with layers or masks will be disqualified.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty winners will be selected through a random draw during an event that will be hosted by the NBM to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the national currency, which will be broadcast live.
