After the recent heavy precipitation, icicles formed on the edges of building roofs in Chisinau. In this connection, the municipality calls on building owners to clear the roofs of snow so as to avoid the formation of icicles as these can cause injuries to people or damage to cars parked nearby, IPN reports.<\/p>\n
The municipality addressed in particular housing sector managers, administrators of social buildings, such as kindergartens and schools, medical and cultural institutions, and of other crowded buildings, regardless of the form of ownership.<\/p>\n
The authorities also urge the citizens to take the necessary measures so that icicles formed on balconies and roofs are safely removed.<\/p>\n
The citizens are asked to be cautious while moving near the roofs of buildings, houses or balconies and not to allow children to play in that area.<\/p>\n
In case of problematic situations in connection with the weather conditions, the citizens of the capital city can call the Central Municipal Dispatcher\u2019s Office on \u00a0(022) 22-22-67 or (022) 22-26-04.<\/p>\n
