The bombings took place a few hours after President Donald Trump stated that the truce with Tehran was over and threatened with new attacks. In response, Iran launched drone and ballistic missile attacks on American bases in the Middle East, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that it has hit approximately 90 military targets to reduce threats to free maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. The bombings targeted air defense systems, missile depots and drones, as well as logistical infrastructure along the Iranian coast. Among the targeted cities are Bandar Abbas, Konarak and Chabahar where explosions have been reported.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has retaliated and launched drones and ballistic missiles at American bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. According to Tehran, military and infrastructure installations were targeted. Kuwait announced that it intercepted several missiles and multiple drones.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The American president, Donald Trump, has warned Tehran of escalating bombings, if Iran continues to attack ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The United States has again attacked targets in Iran, for the second consecutive day.
