Independent candidate Tudor Ulianovschi has been allocated #10 on the preliminary ballot for the October 20 presidential election. He will be followed by Igor Munteanu, of the Unity and Welfare Coalition, and independent Natalia Morari. This was decided following a random draw conducted Friday, on the last day the Central Electoral Commission accepted signature lists from presidential hopefuls.<\/p>\n
Of the 13 successfully registered presidential endorsement groups, only one \u2013 supporting the jurist and politician Alexandru Arseni \u2013 failed to submit lists with enough signatures to the election authority, which disqualifies him from the race.<\/p>\n
To date, the CEC registered four presidential candidates, as the other submissions are pending examination.<\/p>\n
