Meteorologists have issued a yellow warning for atmospheric instability for Saturday, valid until 05:00 PM. Short showers accompanied by thunderstorms are forecast, while heavy showers will occur locally, IPN reports.<\/p>\n\n
The Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring Authority says that, locally, heavy showers are expected, with rainfall amounts of between 15 and 25 litres per square metre. These will be accompanied by hail and wind gusts of up to 15\u201320 metres per second.<\/p>\n\n
In the context of the weather warning, Chisinau City Hall recommends using public transport, while drivers are urged to avoid parking on roadsides, pavements or under trees in order to prevent possible incidents and ensure the swift intervention of specialised services if needed.<\/p>\n\n
At the same time, the municipality says that specialised services are ready to intervene, and in the event of problematic situations caused by weather conditions, citizens are urged to call the Central Municipal Dispatch Service at (022) 22-22-67 and (022) 22-26-04.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
