This statement belongs to the Italian Ambassador to Chisinau, Giuseppe Maria Perricone, and was made on the occasion of Europe Day, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ambassador emphasized that the relations between Moldova and Italy have constantly evolved in recent years, against the backdrop of an active political dialogue and extensive cooperation in economic and social fields. He highlighted the impact of Italian investments on the local economy and on creating opportunities for citizens.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Italy firmly supports the European path of the Republic of Moldova and remains a reliable partner in this process,&#8221; mentioned Giuseppe Maria Perricone. The diplomat added that reforms are essential for strengthening institutions and aligning with European Union standards.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official also highlighted the role of the Moldovan community in Italy, which he described as an important bridge between the two states.
