Hundreds of guests and five internationally renowned speakers gathered on April 30 in Chisinau, within the dialogue platform “Reinvent Moldova 2.0”, organized by the Realitatea Media Group. According to the organizers, this year’s edition had a special stake, being marked by the presence of the special guest Charles Michel, former President of the European Council, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n
“I feel a vibrant society with the will to look towards the future, with the will to unite, with the will to be in the same boat, to share some common principles, some common values, to share a common project. And this new path, I believe, is a unique opportunity. It is a unique opportunity for this country to unite. I know that the coming months, the coming years, will be extremely important,” declared Charles Michel.<\/p>\n\n
On the event’s stage, other speakers from key fields also stepped up, each bringing to the forefront essential themes for the country’s development. On behalf of civil society, Daniela Vidaicu, the executive director of the Soros Foundation Moldova, highlighted the essential role of democratic reforms and civic involvement, in the context of a European path undergoing continuous transformation.<\/p>\n\n
“I have traveled to many countries, I have studied abroad and I always came back home. Because home is Moldova. It is a privilege for Moldova to be my country, because every year we grow together. We make mistakes, we rise and we seek the best solutions, so that both I and Moldova can be well.”<\/p>\n\n
Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Osmochescu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, spoke about the country’s economic prospects. The official announced the launch of the government program “REUSIM”. “It’s about Moldova. It’s about its citizens. It’s about the private sector, which has demonstrated resilience,” noted the Minister.<\/p>\n\n
Present at the event, the director of StratCom Moldova, Ana Revenco, addressed the topic of security and resilience. “Russian disinformation works by making you feel not strong enough and making you believe that you can’t change anything,” Ana Revenco stated.<\/p>\n\n
The strategic communication expert Sergiu Toader addressed the challenges of the media industry and the relationship between content, audience, and credibility, emphasizing that public trust remains a fundamental pillar. “The Republic of Moldova has something to offer and no longer needs to seek approval from Brussels or Moscow,” the expert noted.<\/p>\n\n
