Ioan Meiu stated that the alert level in Israel is at its maximum, and the Holy Week services will be held with restrictions, similar to the pandemic period. Access to the Holy Sepulchre will only be allowed for official delegations, accompanied by hierarchs and priests, while believers will not be able to participate in either the services or the ceremony of lighting the Holy Light.<\/p>\n\n
The envoy of the Romanian Patriarchy to the Holy Places stated that the opening of the special corridor for aircraft was made possible due to diplomatic efforts, including those of the embassies.
