The statement was made by the Romanian president Nicusor Dan, after the meeting with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, who is on a visit to Bucharest, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussions between the two officials focused on urgent common priorities, with a direct impact on citizens. Nicusor Dan reaffirmed Romania&#8217;s commitment to support the Republic of Moldova, both in the process of joining the European Union and in essential areas such as energy security and resilience to hybrid threats. Also, the leader from Cotroceni emphasized the importance of Romanian investments in the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In turn, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu highlighted the increasingly close relationship between the two states, reflected in joint projects for citizens and mutual support in difficult times.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Russia&#8217;s war in Ukraine continues to affect our peace and daily life &#8211; through dangerous fuel spills on the Dniester, drones flying over the airspace, or power outages &#8211; while Romania, through unconditional support, shows us what true solidarity means,&#8221; the prime minister further stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The interconnection projects in energy, infrastructure, and digital networks are important for increasing the degree of connection of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, through Romania.
