Moldova will host the third edition of the Conference on Security in the Black Sea region. The event will take place on March 23 in Chisinau, under the auspices of the International Crimea Platform. The discussions are taking place against the backdrop of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and its impact on regional security, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n
According to the Ministry of Defense, the conference agenda includes topics such as regional security strategies, freedom of navigation, protection of critical infrastructure, and regional cooperation. Participants will also analyze the lessons learned in the context of the war in Ukraine and will formulate recommendations for strengthening security and resilience in the Black Sea region.<\/p>\n\n
The conference continues the dialogue initiated in Bucharest in 2023 and resumed in Sofia in 2024. High-ranking officials from Moldova, Ukraine, and partner states are expected to attend. Representatives of international organizations, the business community, civil society, and the academic environment will also participate.<\/p>\n\n
