According to the Iranian Red Crescent, nearly 800 people have lost their lives in attacks launched by the USA and Israel, and dozens of cities across the country have been affected.<\/p>\n\n

The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed that the entrances to the Natanz uranium enrichment plant in central Iran were hit in recent attacks. Israel also announced air strikes on the presidential palace and the Supreme National Security Council in Tehran.<\/p>\n\n

China has accused the US and Israel of inciting regime change in Iran. The spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, reiterated in a press conference that the American and Israeli offensive violates international law and the basic norms governing international relations. Meanwhile, France and Beijing have agreed to collaborate to de-escalate the conflict.<\/p>\n\n

The German Foreign Minister has warned that an attack on a NATO state cannot be ruled out, following the drone attack on a British air base in Cyprus.<\/p>\n\n

At the same time, Lebanon has withdrawn troops from the border with Israel to prevent casualties.<\/p>\n\n

The spokesperson for the Israeli army estimated that the war against Iran will last “a few weeks”, while the American president Donald Trump specified that the USA holds an “unlimited reserve” of weapons.<\/p>\n\n

According to international press, the situation remains extremely tense, with the risk of regional and international escalation. Embassies and diplomatic personnel are on alert, and drone attacks and aerial bombings continue to affect both civilians and strategic infrastructure in the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n

The war in the Middle East entered its fourth day on Tuesday, marking a rapid and large-scale escalation of the conflict triggered by the killing of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a joint American-Israeli military operation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
