She emphasized that the treaty will reduce billions of dollars in tariffs and will provide small and medium-sized enterprises with access to new markets, previously inaccessible to them.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entry into force of the EU-Mercosur trade agreement, <a href=\"https:\/\/ipn.md\/en\/the-eu-and-mercosur-have-signed-the-trade-agreement-after-25-years-of-negotiations\/\">signed<\/a> on January 17, is currently suspended, as the European Parliament has blocked its ratification and <a href=\"https:\/\/ipn.md\/en\/the-european-parliament-asks-the-eu-court-of-justice-to-evaluate-the-agreement-with-mercosur\/\">requested<\/a> the EU Court of Justice to verify its legality.
