According to the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases, the man considered to be the organizer of the scheme, as well as two other suspects – a woman and a man, have been placed under arrest on the territory of Moldova.<\/p>\n\n

“The fourth person is under criminal investigation, as follows: they are detained, and the prosecutors have assigned them the criminal-procedural status of accused, just like the other three,” specifies PCCOCS.<\/p>\n\n

A joint Moldovan-Ukrainian operation led to the arrest<\/a> <\/a>of 11 suspects in a case involving the preparation of assassinations of public figures in Ukraine: four in Moldova, including the group coordinator, and seven in Ukraine. The group was led by a man from Chisinau, with a criminal record in Russia for drug trafficking and connections with coordinators from Russian special services via Telegram. The other detainees from Moldova are two cohabitants and a young man, and the 10 recruits, aged between 19 and 43, come from Chisinau, Comrat, Orhei, and Tighina, some with records for hooliganism and traffic offenses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
