“I am convinced that we will see big international names in Moldova sooner or later,” Anca Dragu said in an interview for the publication Bloomberg<\/a>, conducted on the sidelines of the Central and Eastern Europe Forum in Vienna.<\/p>\n\n

The head of the national bank drew attention to recent developments that could support the expansion of Moldova’s banking sector and noted that there are currently ten “well-capitalized” banks operating in the country, with a high level of liquidity.<\/p>\n\n

Last year, the Republic of Moldova joined the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), a unified system for transactions in the common currency of the European Union.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
