Even those with free travel must use the card at the validator &#8211; money will not be withdrawn, but this way the authorities will be able to record passenger flow, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to ASOP (the automated payment system in the region), facilities for retirees are automatically associated with bank cards, without the need for any additional registration. The other categories of beneficiaries must register their rights through the competent institutions, using a card issued by any bank in the region.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of individuals with complete fare exemption, this can only be used by validating the card at the terminal, and the citizen is required to present, in case of control, a document confirming the facility.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, all trolleybuses in Tiraspol and Bender are equipped with payment terminals, and from August 1, 2025, urban minibuses have switched to the automated payment system. Now, cash payment will be temporarily allowed only on suburban routes, with the mandatory issuance of a ticket, until the implementation of the &#8220;check in\/check out&#8221; system, which involves card validation when getting on and off the means of transport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting from January 15, payment for journeys on urban electric transport and interurban routes in the Transnistrian region will be made exclusively by card.
