The National Bank of Moldova and the World Bank are working on the first National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS). The strategy emphasizes the quality of services, consumer protection, and the development of financial education, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n
According to BNM, with this initiative, Moldova is taking a significant step towards creating an inclusive, innovative, and trustworthy financial system that supports sustainable development and reduces inequalities.<\/p>\n\n
A technical assistance mission provided by international experts was hosted by BNM from November 3-7. The mission supported the inter-institutional working group in finalizing the SNIF 2030 document and the action plan for implementation. The document will contribute to increasing the access of the population and small businesses to safe and modern financial services.<\/p>\n\n
Representatives of public institutions, the private sector, and civil society participated in the nine workshops organized last week. The discussions focused on setting objectives and strategic actions.<\/p>\n\n
