It is a great honor for me to be able to serve my country,&#8221; said the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, the new government team will focus on economic growth and continuing the strategic direction of Moldova&#8217;s accession to the European Union \u2013 &#8220;a goal supported by the majority of citizens,&#8221; Alexandru Munteanu stressed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We want this process to bring tangible benefits to people: investments, well-paid jobs, modern public services, and an efficient administration that is close to citizens,&#8221; said the prime minister, urging all stakeholders to join forces for &#8220;the good, prosperity, and European path of the Republic of Moldova.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Alexandru Munteanu government was sworn in on October 31, with the votes of 55 deputies from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), after a session that lasted more than eight hours.
