Another 1.22 hectares will be used temporarily during the works. The decision was approved today by the cabinet of ministers, reports IPN.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lands will be taken over through special expropriation procedures, and the ownership and usage rights will be transferred to the state according to a decree issued by the Government, to allow the rapid implementation of the project.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 400 kV high voltage line Vulcanesti\u2013Chisinau is considered a priority project for the energy infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova and is part of the interconnection plan with the European network. Authorities reiterate that the works are expected to be completed by the end of this year.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The approved legislative changes also aim at modernizing the authorization process for the construction of power plants. Investment projects with a capacity greater than 20 MW will be preliminarily evaluated by the Council for the Examination of Investments of Importance for State Security, to ensure transparency and protection of strategic interests.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the executive, these measures meet the commitments undertaken through the Growth Plan 2025-2027, contributing to the expansion of the electric energy balancing capacities, indispensable for the stability of the national system and the operation of the balancing market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.84 hectares of agricultural land from the B\u0103cioi commune will be transferred to state ownership, necessary for the foundations of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau Energy Independence Line pillars.
