On Romanian Language Day, the EU ambassador bid farewell with a message expressing his admiration for the Romanian language and his gratitude for the years spent in Moldova, IPN reports.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diplomat chose to do so through an artistic gesture, a poem dedicated to the Romanian language and the Moldovan spirit, written in collaboration with Ionela Hadarca. The lyrics reflect his experiences during his four-year term, his sincere closeness to the local culture, and the spiritual bond that developed between him and the people of this country.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Today, we celebrate Romanian Language Day, and for me this is a day with double significance: it also marks the end of my term in the Republic of Moldova. Happy Romanian Language Day! Thank you, Republic of Moldova, for everything I have experienced here!&#8221; said Ma\u017eeiks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recited poem conveys a message of unity and European belonging.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Please, dear Moldova, keep going&#8221;
