On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Moldova, the leaders of the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance laid flowers at the monument of Prince \u0218tefan cel Mare. To mark the national holiday, the party leaders, members of the National Political Council, and candidates for parliamentary deputies on the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance list gathered to pay tribute and commemorate the victorious defender of Moldova\u2019s sovereignty and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cIndependence is a cause for which our ancestors fought for hundreds of years,\u201d emphasized the party president, Denis Rosca, congratulating the people of the country on the national holiday. \u201cYet, many people still do not understand what independence truly means,\u201d the politician added. \u201cWe need to decide our future on our own, we must plan our future independently, and we are obliged to leave our children a country that will be better than it is today,\u201d stated the president of the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance. He described the preservation of independence as a sacred goal for the current generations of Moldovans.<\/p>\n\n
The importance of Independence Day was also emphasized by the vice president of the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance, Dumitru Roibu. \u201cThanks to this day and the efforts of our ancestors over the centuries, we live in an independent country. We are proud to be Moldovans, to live in our own country, to have our flag, our Moldovan language, and our traditions,\u201d the politician stressed, urging everyone never to give up the fight to preserve independence.<\/p>\n\n
The appeal was supported by the secretary general of the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance, Victor Marahovschi. \u201cIndependence is not just a date on the calendar, but a daily struggle to live by our own mind and labor. We must remember that we cannot trade away our land, our people, or our future. When independence becomes a reality in all areas\u2014economy, politics, and daily life\u2014the August 27 holiday will gain its true significance,\u201d the politician emphasized.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cIndependence is like breathing: you don\u2019t notice it while you have it, but without it, you cannot live. We must preserve it every day by defending our land, our language, and our dignity,\u201d said Nicolae Pascaru, a member of the National Political Council of the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance, addressing the citizens of Moldova on the occasion of the national holiday.<\/p>\n\n
Defending Moldova\u2019s independence by supporting economic potential and strengthening national identity\u2014this is the foundation of the program of the new pro-Moldovan party, the \u201cMOLDOVENII\u201d Alliance.
