Nine fire engines were deployed on Monday at the Central Market after a fire broke out in a warehouse with household goods.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the call to 112 came in at around 3:40 p.m. The fire affected an area of about 1200 square meters. It took more than 30 firefighters about 40 minutes to contain the fire, with efforts continuing to put it out completely.
No casualties were reported. The cause and circumstances of the fire are to be determined.
