Vlad Filat: “Zdob si Zdub” won the top prize – public's sympathy
Prime Minister Vlad Filat said the band “Zdob si Zdub” had a good performance at the Eurovision Song Contest this year. On May 16, the Premier had a private meeting with the members of the band at a club in central Chisinau, where he congratulated them and discussed the band's future plans, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The lads from “Zdob si Zdub” are very energetic and their future plans are nice,” said Vlad Filat. According to him, the Moldovan band won the top prize – the sympathy of the spectators and viewers. The Prime Minister said he liked the winning song of the Azeri band, but he liked “So lucky” more.
Asked by Info-Prim Neo whom he voted for, the Premier said he gave his vote to the singer who represented Romania.
“Zdob si Zdub” ranked 12th at Eurovision.
