Greco-Roman wrestler Valentin Petic won the bronze medal at the Under 23 World Championship, which was held in Budapest.
He scored three wins in the 72 kg weight category, against the Hungarian Oliver Kajtan, the Armenian Hrant Kalachyan and the Japanese Nao Kusaka, while only being defeated by the future finalist, the Azerbaijani Sanan Suleymanov.
Earlier Anastasia Nichita won a silver medal, while Maxim Saculțan and Irina Rîngaci won bronze medals.
