The first cases of death from flu were reported in Moldova. The victims are two women - one from Ungheni and another one from Chisinau. They both died in the hospital. The information was confirmed by Minister of Health Adrian Usatyi on Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports. One of the women was infected with type A flu, while the other one with type B flu. “The given persons suffered from a number of chronic diseases. The flu developed them and their state worsened,” Adrian Usatyi told the press. A case of death from A H1N2 was recorded in Romania’s Iasi. The Ministry of Health of Moldova assured all the necessary measures were taken to prevent infection on the left bank of the Prut River. “A large number of people were vaccinated against pandemic flu. We have the necessary vaccines, drugs and wards if need be,” said the minister.
