Pictures with the names and photos of two judges appeared on billboards in Chisinau, together with the words: “Most corrupt judges in Moldova!”. When asked by journalists, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the pictures were put at night, in the absence of an authorization, IPN reports.

DorinChirtoaca stated that the two judges ruled in favor of the Chisinau City Hall in a case by which a raider attack and the illegal levying of 25 million lei was prevented. This fact probably dissatisfied those who lost the case.

The mayor also said that the pictures will be taken away today, March 29, while the company that allowed this violation to be committed will be deprived of authorization for placing advertisements on all the billboards it owns in Chisinau.
