Three persons, including a minor, drowned on Wednesday, June 10. Their corpses were found by frogmen, Info-Prim Neo reports. A 14-year-old boy got drowned in a pond near Criva village of Briceni district. A man aged 19 from Giurgiulesti village of Cahul district lost his life in the waters of the Danube. A man aged 51 drowned in a pond near Tarcova village of Edinet district, said Liliana Puscasu, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergency Service. A 61-year-old resident of Orhei town fell into a sewage pit and had one foot in the grave. He was saved by firefighters and is now under medical care. More than 40 persons have drowned in Moldova this year. Nine out of the victims were minors.
