SA Termocom made a call to the managers of associations of privatized dwelling owners and homebuilding cooperatives to accelerate the preparation of the inter-block piping systems for the 2013-2014 heating season and to remove the identified technical glitches. The supplier warns that the refusal to liquidate the faults will not keep warm during the heating season, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the public utility, 99% of the causes of lack of heating comfort in apartment buildings derive from technical glitches in the heating system. Specialists of the Quality Section of SA “Termocom” informed managers of 99 blocks of the necessity of removing the faults.

The suppliers announced that the municipal housing stock managing companies became actively involved in the process of removing the shortcomings and eliminated the faults in 38 apartment buildings or 77.5% of the total.

The situation is different in the case of apartment buildings managed by homebuilding cooperatives, associations of privatized dwelling owners and public amenities divisions as they refuse to remove the existing faults. Only the dwellers of one building managed by homebuilding cooperatives agreed to liquidate the shortcomings.

Nothing was done to solve the technical problems in the three apartment buildings with shortcomings managed by departmental institutions and public amenities divisions.
