Chisinau's heat and hot water utility Termocom transmitted prescriptions concerning the technical glitches detected during the 2012 – 2013 heating season to the residential sector managers of Centru district. The managers are asked to remove the faults by the start of the next heating season, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from Termocom, the apartment buildings with technical problems were identified as a result of inspections carried out after dwellers submitted complaints. The supplier insists that the managers who are responsible for the internal piping systems of the blocks remove the faults in concert with the dwellers.
The heat supplier said the identified problems concern mainly the work of the heating columns, unauthorized changes made to the systems for connecting heating devices, direct connections, and hydraulic glitches.
Termocom asked properly preparing the internal piping systems of apartment buildings. It called on the dwellers of the buildings with technical problems to cooperate with the managers in removing the faults and to allow access to homes for replacing the columns that transit apartments.
