The Chisinau heat supplier has closed the consumer metering campaign. According to “Termocom”, there are over 3,000 meters in apartment buildings in the municipality of Chisinau at present, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the company, the heat consumed by dwellers is calculated based on mains meters. After the installation of meters in apartment buildings, heat consumption started to be calculated more accurately. In the newly erected apartment buildings that were connected to the centralized heating system, meters were set up in each apartment. By metering the apartment buildings, “Termocom” aimed to help the end-users and to eliminate the suspicions as regards the consumption of heat in the apartment buildings in Chisinau. The administration of “Termocom” urges the consumers to take measures to conserve heat and optimize the use of heat.
