The Chisinau heat supplier is concerned about the fact that the apartment building managers didn’t distribute the non-metered volumes of consumed hot water. Consequently, a debt of almost half a million lei was recorded for March alone, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from SA “Termocom”, the debts for hot water now total 155 million lei. The apartment building managers are asked to step up inspections inside the buildings and to monitor the meters and verify the bills to determine if the indicated volumes coincide.
The supplier calls on the public authorities to become involved in solving the problem of non-distributed hot water. It warns that it may stop supplying hot water to the residents of the municipality of Chisinau in a centralized way.
