In order to simplify the payment of taxes for the Romanian passport, the two taxes collected in this regard were merged and could be thus paid into a common account. Their payment online will also be facilitated, IPN reports.

The Government of Romanian adopted a series of measures aimed at simplifying the procedures and reducing the people’s efforts to purchase some of the documents. In a press release, the Romanian executive says the largest part of the measures included in this package match the suggestions received from people through the online public consultation platform “maisimplu.gov.ro”.

By an emergency order, the Government of Romania introduced a series of innovations in a move to reduce bureaucracy and to simplify and digitize the document obtaining procedures.
