<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Young graduates of higher education institutions from the Republic of Moldova can apply for a scholarship program offered by the German Bundestag. The winners will work for five months in the office of a German deputy, where they will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with parliamentary work and decision-making processes in German politics, reports IPN.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The program, which will take place from March 1 to July 31, 2027, is intended for young people up to 28 years old and includes both practical experience in the German legislature and free participation in courses and lectures organized by universities in Berlin.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Candidates must have a good command of the German language, this being an essential condition for participation. Those selected will benefit from a monthly scholarship, free accommodation, medical insurance and reimbursement of travel expenses.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Applications may be submitted until July 31, 2026. Full details regarding eligibility requirements and the selection process are available on the official <a href="https://www.bundestag.de/europa_internationales/ips">website</a> of the Bundestag Scholarship Program.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The National Bank of Moldova organizes, from November 24-28, the third edition of the &#8220;Career Week at BNM&#8221;. The event brings together hundreds of students and professionals from the financial-banking sector, offering them the opportunity to explore careers and prospects in a sector essential for the national economy, reports IPN.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to BNM, the event will include interactive sessions, practical workshops, presentations, and dialogue forums with experts from the institution, offering participants the opportunity to discover how the National Bank contributes to maintaining the economic and financial stability of the country.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Also, those interested will be able to find detailed information about internship programs, employment opportunities within BNM, and possibilities for continuous professional development.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Governor of the BNM, Anca Dragu, emphasizes that the central bank encourages the active involvement of young people in the economic development of the country and maintains a constant dialogue with future professionals in the field. &#8220;Every young person who crosses our threshold and participates in internships or applied experiences, has the chance to become a member of a dedicated team, fully committed to the mission of strengthening the financial system,&#8221; says Anca Dragu.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The event also includes a series of visits by the BNM team to educational institutions in the country, where thematic presentations and dialogue sessions with students will be organized.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;A generation thanks to which Moldova grows&#8221; &#8211; this is how Prime Minister Dorin Recean described the youth of Moldova. During a discussion with the participants of the fourth edition of the joint internship program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the head of the executive appreciated their intelligence, courage and determination, urging them to work with responsibility and dedication, to show openness to everything that is new and to demonstrate a developed critical spirit, reports IPN.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;I am confident that, together, we will continue the European path of the country&#8217;s development&#8221;, emphasized Prime Minister Dorin Recean.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In turn, the interns asked the Prime Minister questions about the Government&#8217;s priorities regarding the security of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the importance of the parliamentary elections this fall.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the fourth edition of the internship program, over 150 people are participating. Since the launch of the program, 268 young people have completed internships within public authorities, some of whom were subsequently employed.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The paid internships have a duration of two months within the EU Delegation Program, and those in the Government Program must accumulate 480 hours, within a period ranging from 3 to 6 months. Young people who complete the program and obtain the &#8220;very good&#8221; rating can be proposed for employment, without competition, in public execution positions for which professional experience is not necessary. Also, the internship graduates are included in the reserve body of public officials, for a period of 12 months.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">155 young people will carry out paid internships in the public service, as part of the fourth edition of the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova. The program aims to improve the theoretical and practical knowledge of interns about public administration, especially in the context of European integration. Young people who complete the program with the qualification &#8220;very good&#8221; can be proposed for employment, without competition, in executive public positions for which professional experience is not required, reports IPN.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the launch event, Prime Minister Dorin Recean encouraged young people to contribute to the modernization of public administration. &#8220;We are professionalizing public administration and preparing a generation of young, educated, energetic and motivated leaders to modernize and empower the state on our path to EU accession&#8221;, emphasized the Prime Minister, as quoted in a press release from the executive.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The head of the European Union Delegation in the Republic of Moldova, Jānis Mažeiks, noted that the young interns will continue to promote the values of transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centered governance &#8211; fundamental values of the EU.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The paid internships are carried out over a period of two months within the EU Delegation Program, and those in the Government Program must accumulate 480 hours, within a period ranging from 3 to 6 months.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The program is carried out based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, the Council of Rectors, and the EU-funded project &#8220;Moldova is Europe &#8211; Support for EU Integration&#8221;.</p>
