The new investments are directed towards the rehabilitation of access roads to the gymnasium in the village of Șerpeni and the renovation of the Cultural House in Puhaceni, both in the Anenii Noi district. Also here, the “Luceafarul” gymnasium-kindergarten in the village of Delacau will be thermally insulated. In the Dubasari district, insulation works are planned at kindergarten no. 1 in the Cosniaa commune and at the Cultural House in the Cocieri commune.
The Joint Control Commission will have a press center intended to contribute to “the dissemination of objective information regarding the situation in the Security Zone and the operation of peacekeeping mechanisms on the Dniester River”. During the meeting held on Thursday in Bender, the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova presented its candidates for the composition of the Press Center, however, a final decision was not made, reports IPN.

The delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Joint Control Commission draws attention to the fact that Tiraspol has resorted to non-transparent practices and a selective approach in the process of accrediting journalists to the JCC, abusively restricting the access of several media representatives in the Transnistrian region.

“In order to eliminate these violations from a significant communication structure of the Joint Control Commission and to restore its functionality in accordance with the purpose stated in the Agreement signed on July 21, 1992, the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova has presented its candidacies to be included in the composition of the Press Center,” is stated in a press release of the institution.

Since a final decision on the Chisinau proposal has not been adopted, the subject is to be discussed in the context of future work meetings.

The Joint Control Commission is a trilateral body established to maintain peace in the Security Zone on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, following the armed conflict on the Dniester in 1992. The JCC is composed of representatives from the Republic of Moldova, the self-proclaimed administration of Tiraspol, and the Russian Federation.

The military structures of the Transnistrian administration have reconstructed the Iasi-Chisinau operation from World War II. The event took place on the banks of the Dniester River, near the city of Tiraspol, involving military equipment, blank ammunition, and pyrotechnics. Among the guests was Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselski, IPN reports.

The reenactment began with a military parade, during which the T-34 tank, Katyusha rocket launchers, and military trucks known as “Polutorka” were presented to the public. The column was closed by the participants in the reenactment, who played the role of “liberating soldiers.”

The event featured singing and dancing to the tune of Katyusha, a song glorifying Soviet soldiers. In the background, the sound of “explosions” could be heard, while spectators watched a simulation of the crossing of the Dniester River and the battle with the fascists.

The press center of the so-called Transnistrian Ministry of Internal Affairs states that students from the “Republican Cadet Corps,” members of the Military Youth Union, and employees of the SOBR “Nistru” dog training detachment participated in the reenactment.

Chisinau had previously called for an end to all military actions in the Security Zone, describing the event as illegal and abusive.

The authorities of the Republic of Moldova have taken note with concern of the information published in the press from the Transnistrian region regarding the organization, by the structures in Tiraspol and the Operational Group of Russian Troops, illegally stationed in the country, of a so-called reenactment of the Iasi-Chisinau operation from the Second World War, IPN reports.

The Office for Reintegration Policy states that the event is being organized illegally on the bank of the Nistru River, within the boundaries of the city of Tiraspol and involves approximately 16 military units, 13 artillery pieces, blank ammunition, and pyrotechnic materials. “These unilateral military actions carried out within the Security Zone constitute a blatant provocation of the special regime established for this area, undermining the peacekeeping mission on the Nistru,” reads a press release.

The Moldova Republic’s delegation in the Joint Control Commission, through its component in the Joint Military Command, requested the deployment of military observers on the ground to document the situation. This regular request was blocked by representatives of the military structures representing Tiraspol and the Russian Federation.

The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Joint Control Commission strongly condemns these provocations, stating that they endanger stability and security in the region, and calls for an immediate cessation of any military actions in the Security Zone. It also calls for strict adherence to the commitments made under the Agreement of July 21, 1992 on the principles of peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.
