According to the new provisions, at the candidate’s request, the instructor from the driving school where they trained can be present in the car during the practical test. The instructor will occupy the front right seat, and the ASP examiner will assess the candidate from the back seat.

The participation of the instructor is optional and depends solely on the decision of the person being examined. At the same time, the instructor will not have the right to offer advice, directions, or assistance during the examination and will not be able to influence in any way the evaluation process or the final result.

ASP specifies that the examiner remains the sole person responsible for assessing the candidate’s skills and for granting the qualification “passed” or “failed”.

The instructor will be able to intervene only in exceptional situations, when it is necessary to prevent a danger to road traffic safety.
