The National House of Social Insurance will give the status of person medically insured by the Government to the parent who effectively rises and educates four and more children, including the adoptive parent, for the period during which at least one of the children is younger than 18. For the purpose, the person will file an application and justificatory documents, PN reports.
The relevant changes to the regulations on the provision of the status of person insured in the mandatory health insurance system, which were approved by the Government today, will take effect when the decision is published in the Official Gazette.
The status of medically insured person is provided on the date the request is made and is suspended when the children reach 18 or when the person is deprived of parental rights, adoption is suspended, the person is jailed or the child is admitted to education, curative, social assistance institutions for being maintained there.
