The second stage of enrollment in vocational schools will be held between August 16 and 25, after the first stage managed to cover only 81% of the target, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Education, of the total 9,600 places offered this year, 2,562 remain unoccupied.
The most in demand occupations in vocational schools are chefs, confectioners, auto mechanics, electricians, and IT support operators. The least in demand occupations include bricklayers, sewers, carpenters, vine-growers and wine-makers.
Vocational admissions take place at centers of excellence, collegiums and professional schools. The centers of excellence completed their enrollment plan on August 12 at a level of 90%.
