The Ministry of Education approved the schedule of graduation exams of the 2015 session. According to the schedule, the final tests in primary education will be taken on May 12-21, 2015, the secondary school graduation exams – on June 4-15, while the Baccalaureate exams – on June 2-19, 2015, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Ministry, within the Baccalaureate session the students will mandatorily take exams in the language of study and the foreign language, while the students of schools for speakers of other languages than Romanian will also sit exams in the Romanian language and literature. Those studying exact sciences will take also the math exam, those studying humanities – the exam in the history of Romanians and universal history, while those studying arts, sports and technology – the specialty exam. Besides the mandatory subjects, the twelfth graders will also take an exam in a school subject of their choice, namely geography, physics, chemistry, biology, math, informatics, the history of Romanians or universal history.
The ninth graders this year will take exams in math, the language of study, the history of Romanians and universal history. The students of schools teaching in other languages than Romanian will also sit the exam in the Romanian language and literature. All the tests will be taken in written form.
The students of primary schools will sit the exams in the mother tongue and the language of study and in math. On May 21, the students of schools teaching in other languages than Romanian will take a mandatory oral test in the Romanian language, based on tests worked out by the Quality Assurance Agency.
