Former Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanyi is expected to present herself to the Prosecutor General's Office (PG) on Tuesday, March 30, to be questioned in the legal cases opened over the April events, Info-Prim Neo reports. In an appeal launched on April 9, 2009, Zinaida Greceanyi asked the population not to take to the streets and not to respond to the provocations as “if the state institutions are attacked, it will be hard to avoid causalities. The police will use all the means possible to defend the constitutionality in Moldova, including guns.” In a communique, the PG says after examining the movies shot on the night of April 8 it was decided to question all the persons who have connection with those events. This week, Vladimir Voronin and Dorin Chirtoaca will be quizzed again. Communists Grigore Petrenlo, Vasile Iovv, Maria Postoiko, Igor Dodon, Vadim Misin and Iurie Stoikov will be also summoned for questioning. In the same cases, Former Minister of the Interior Gheorghe Papuc and former Police Commissioner of Chisinau Vladimir Botnari have been accused of misconduct in office that resulted in the death of Valeriu Boboc and other serious consequences. The legal cases started against the two will be sent to court by this weekend.
